With Angelo Montini dead, Detective Pickhand surveyed the photographs of the definitive suspects. It was impossible to say which one was the culprit; they all had motives. So Pickhand was reassigned.

Detective Springer took over the case but by the time he’d worked it out, Pickhand was far far away.
